Calm Day On The Ocean

Uploaded: February 15, 2006

Description

South Cottesloe Beach,Western Australia.14 Feb,2006. 12.15PM.Used a circular polarising lens filter.I enjoy the polariser as it depicts the colours I see all summer outdoors anyhow,as I wear polaroid sunglasses...which is near to essential in our summers glare.

All those colours are coming together beautifully Joe! Excellent composition. Fantastic clouds! What is the green? Is it floating weed? #2425942

Thanks Janine and Kate. The green is actually just the shallow waters of the reef. The darker colours there is of the reef and seaweed growing there. The polariser is great for seeing thru the water, the same as my sunnies do. #2430085
