Description

Taken at 5:43 PM, WWII Memorial, Annapolis MD. 18-55 mm lens, focal length 18 mm. Shutter priority, 1/15 second, F/4, ISO 800, WB cloudy. I bent the rules of the assignment a little by not just uploading my noise-reduced 1600 version, but this ended up being the photo I was trying to take all along. I reduced the ISO to 800 to reduce some noise but keep a higher light sensitivity. The shutter speed was also reduced to let in more light, and I accepted the slight blur of the flags in exchange for getting as close as I could to the actual color of the sky. I do wish I had better detail in the far left of the photo, though, and do you think the tree on the right competes for attention? Unfortunately, I couldn't move it. :)
