Thanks guys,

You can see the full image now in my home page archive

It has a slightly different treatment. The HP945 (not to be confused with my lovely HP715) was a pain. It excelled in grain shots with no depth.

Once I got involved in a long discussion with someone about a photo ... and everytime I went to find examples of problems with images ... the HP945 would come up in one negative review after another ... I was appalled.

But my artistic side has had quite a bit of fun learning how to create something better from something worse. And I'm still doing it because the only camera currently available to me occasionally is my daughter's HP945.

The moral to the story is: If your first love in the family line was beautiful and wonderful and incredible ... and the loved one is taken from you ... Do not believe you should instantaniously, without reservation and scrutany accept the first love's sibling as a replacement. Always a bad idea.

have fun,
