Chukar Standoff

These two fellows were fighting for the better part of 30 minutes. Though I could not see the female, I could hear her. Male and female plumage is identical, since these two were fighting not mating, I am assuming they are both males. This was a "rest" period between squabbles. Leslie Gulch, Oregon.
