Thanks for your comment Beverly. This was taken with a Canon G2 Digital camera shortly after sunset with a one second exposure, F2.8 if I remember correctly. This area is one of my favorite areas to shoot.

I am surprised to see you used an F2.8 for this? Don't get me wrong, I love the picture, but what made you choose this apeture instead of a smaller one (and longer shutter speed)?

Ditto! And just to add, that the use of a smaller aperture would not have made a depth of field difference since all of your subject is at 'infinity' or to put it simply the same focused distance-These kinds of compositions fall into the category of 'who cares what aperture I use'-Ironically, when shooting 'who cares' compositions I often use f/8 or f/11 since these are what are known as 'critical apertures'-Critical apertures often produce the sharpest/most contrast images.
I wanted to also add, that if you've never tried the FLW filter(not to be confusd with the FLD) give it a go next time out-It imparts a really nice magenta cast and it also does some minor color correcting with mercury/sodium vapor lighting.
Again, just a really nice shot and, like your other, its great to see you out shooting 'night scenes' before its really night!
