Description

My offering this week is this Red-Bellied Woodpecker. I know his belly only has a tinge of red on it, if that, and his head is bright red, but I did not get to name him. I took this image inside through the window. Settings were: F5 1/400 iso 3200 @ 35mm manual. I am trying to trust a higher iso as I generally stay under 800, more likely 400. I have too many missed or blurry shots as a result of keeping the iso lower. So this is a big step for me. I'm also learning to manage noise better and still get a good result.
