This Southern Belle Loves Snow

Description

Perk was born in Georgia almost 2 years ago to a feral mother. She was trapped around the time she was 6 months old and taken to a very scary, noisy shelter. Within a few days, she was transported to a foster home where her "bizarre" behaviors caused the resident dogs to attack her. So she was moved to an outdoor kennel where she lived with little human contact for the next 3 months. She finally was transported north in mid-November to be fostered by me. I adopted Perk in July 2020. After more than a year in my home, she still does not trust humans enough to allow touch. But she is smart and silly and, for a professional dog trainer, she is a wonderful study in raw canine behavior. And she really does love playing in the snow!
