Description

This is an interior wall of the oldest house in North Pomfret, Vermont, built in 1778. My great-uncle bought it for my great-aunt upon their marriage and just before he was shipped out to serve in World War I. My mother spent many of her childhood summers at the house on the hill, and I remember many vacations there as well.

Thank you, Janet. My family sold it in the fall of 2018. After making only minor repairs, the new owner sold it again a year later. Hopefully, the latest owner will have the resources to fix it up right! #11862066
