Description

The Temple of Dendur in The Sackler Wing of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City is an Egyptian monument built by Emperor Augustus around 15 B.C. and reconstructed in a modern simulation of its original site. Presented to the United States as a gift from the Egyptian government, it is now an iconic Met space and a highlight of the Museum's collection.
