Planning and Luck

Description

Greater Road Runner near the water at Canoa Ranch Lake, Green Valley, AZ. After trying to anticipate his movement I found a spot that had good light and a good background some distance ahead of where I thought the he would pass and set up my camera on a tripod with a 150 - 600mm lens. I was correct in my selection of a location and I got this shot as he passed by. Planning and luck.

Thanks for the comments Terry, Leslie and Harvey. It was fun trying to get ahead of this guy around the lake to get this shot. #11850628
