Sunshine & Flowers

Description

When an image is made up of an uneven number of elements or an odd number of them, our brain can’t pair them all together causing us to look more intently at the scene. Odd numbers especially three of something can also make triangular shapes which can create balance and stability in your composition. The eye naturally gravitates to triangular shapes and can further draw the viewer into the scene. Triangles also create vanishing points which moves the eye either into or out of the scene. In this case the three stems of flowers form a draping triangular shape in the child's hand with a single stem leading out of the image. F 1.8 1/4000 iso 400 @ 50mm
