Adopted from Australian Cattle Dog Rescue Association, "Perk" was so wild that even after 7 months in my home, I still cannot touch her. Perk is the second feral dog I've adopted. As a professional dog trainer, I've made the rehabbing of feral dogs a bit of a specialty. Miss Perk is very smart and has learned many things already; she has helped further my journey into hands-off dog training.

I always enjoy your dog portraits, Melinda. This one is super sweet, her look is precious. I hope she will continue to grow and learn under your patient care! #11836226

Thank you, Michele. I see progress, albeit small, almost every day. She's a really cool dog. #11836227
