My history, I am widowed and have a lot of time, I spend about 2 to 3 hours a day about 4 days a week. I have a Canon EOS 6D mark II, lens is a Sigma DG 50-500, F stop 7.1, exposure time is 1/2000 sec., Exposure Bias 0 step, ISO auto, these settings are for stop action. The secrete is letting the birds get use to you and the camera. Some of the pictures are taken about 50’ away and some 150’.

Another good one! I'd like a description of your setup: how far away are you, for instance, and how much time do you spend daily watching and waiting? :) #11814136
