Description

LeConte Bay, Alaska I found this bowling ball sized boulder located in a melting iceberg that had calved from LeConte Glacier in Alaska. It was smoothed by scraping along the mountain walls in its journey from the ice fields to the sea and had been buried deep in the glacial ice for thousands of years, only to be revealed as the compacted glacial blue ice finally melted around it. Canon 6D with Canon 24-105 mm lens @105mm, ISO 500, f/10, 1/100

I really like this, with the blue-ish ice and the rock. Your description makes it all real. #11809285
