Taken off our back deck, it is a "prickly-.less" cactus blossom. Don't let the name fool you, no large spikes but thousands maybe millions of almost microscopic stiff hairs that stick into ones hand if the plant handled or picked up. It is not fun getting them extricated from ones hand. Have a blessed day Y'all!! <><
