Guided by the Light

This is a composite of images and software generated imagery. The moon was shot with a Canon 5D4 with a 800mm lens with a 1.4 tele-converter. This was placed on a black background in Photoshop. The canoers are a stock .PNG. The water (reflection) was added using Flood 2 software by Flaming Pear. A brownish gradient was added on the horizon to simulate the moon glow. A second (black) gradient was added to the bottom of the moon to provide some "atmospheric perspective". A final vignette was added to center attention on the reflections and the canoers.

Exif: Camera: Canon Canon EOS 5D Mark II; Shutter Speed: 1/50; Aperture: f/8.0; ISO: 500; Orientation: 1; Date: 2020:04:30 20:25:58
