Description

My challenge this week was motion blur. The lower jaw is in motion, it is subtle but after trying other subjects I figured how often do you see a T-Rex up close & personal! My husband was building a cover to protect the mechanics of the T-Rex at Dinosaur Kingdom 2. The last exhibit of this unique attraction in the woods has you walk into to an outhouse & then this ENORMOUS head comes at you w/ loud growling & grunting. I knew what it was going to do but I still jumped back! True, I wasn’t crying like several of the 5 & 6 year old’s but it was close!... My daughter did a great job modeling for me numerous times:) I used a ND filter & a variety of settings but had a difficult time slowing the shutter down enough in the bright sun in order to capture more motion in the lower jaw.
