I Can't Believe It's Not Butter

Description

I have been enamoured with Buttercups lately in my teapot of wildflowers because their vivid yellow color makes me happy! Their unique God-given design & texture makes them even more intriguing. If you have ever played the childhood game of holding a buttercup under a friend's chin to see if they like butter, you will notice it reflects a soft golden glow to their chin. In the plant kingdom buttercups are the ONLY flower that has a structure combined with pigments that creates this glossy 'optical illusion'. Of course in my humble opinion this proves beyond a shadow of a doubt you do indeed like butter :) F 8 .80sec iso 100 extension tube w/ a 50mm Canon lens, partially light painted
