Rain the night before gave way to absolutely perfect conditions for crisp colors and pristine sky along Arizona SR 98 on my way to Canyon de Chelley. This scenic bypass road was blissfully free of traffic so without places to pull over, I could just stop on the highway to shoot. Very daring...I surprised myself.
