Description

I was photographing abstract shadows along some trellised fire escapes and noticed this young couple finding a quiet space off the busy main thoroughfare. I thought nothing of it at first, but the bounce light and character of the corner building captured my eye. When they looked as though they were about to share a moment, I then saw the scene as a young couple juxtaposed against the grunge of a big city backdrop. When they briefly stopped for an embrace and smooch, I was quick to capture the candid moment.
