Tiga

Uploaded: December 16, 2005

Description

As he was taking a walk in the park I captured the artist Tiga for a much loved picture by him. Unfortunately the master is living his last days on earth. Tiga is dying and will be missed by his fellow countrymen. Many honors were bestowed upon him these past few days by Haitian artists all over the world and the highest honor a country can give to a citizen was also given to him by the government of Haiti. Good bye my friend, my mentor and most of all a true father figure. We love you.

Christian, this is truly an outstanding photo. The way he is carrying his book, he seems thoughtful as he is walking. And the effects you used truly captured the spirit of the artist. Nicely done! #2200101
