sometimes the most spectacular shots are more luck than judgement and this shot was definatley that , I had'nt had to time to adjust my settings on my S2 so I just quickly hit the shutter , with the camera on full auto at 200 iso , this high speed action shot definatley struck lucky

I'd say so. Nice shot Karen. It can't be all luck, however, because the color and framing are great. #49325Karen-Jane Dudley July 31, 2003
Thanks for your kind comments Michael, this really was a lucky shot though and still can't believe I managed frame this shot as well as I did , I had only just taken my lens cover off and could see the shot appearing in front of me ,so in a split second lifted the camera and hit the shutter , and lady luck was definatley on my side this time . Wow great job Karen. I would say that lots of us wouldn't admit that a lot of our photo's are just luck but I can tell you I have had lots of just luck shots, however I would have to agree with Michael there is a great deal of skill in this image also.Karen-Jane Dudley July 31, 2003
Thanks Donna for your really kind comments ,I only took up my photography career 3 years ago and even took the risk of giving up my job in Febuary this year to concentrate trying to get my photography career off the ground, and such kind comments from other photographers like yourself is helping me grow in confidence with each shot , and really hoping that my luck with shots like this will also stay with me .K-J #154010Lori Ditlefsen July 31, 2003
Nice capture! Great action shot! I agree that some of the best shots are luck. LOL Good luck with your career. I'm in that boat as well. I've been at my business for over a year now and can't think of anything I'd rather be doing. #154105Leanne M.E. Boyd July 31, 2003
