Lovely series of cascades in the Quinault rainforest, Olympic Peninsula of Olympic National Park.
I quite literally still feel the ache in my right side as I precariously clung to the moist steep moss-covered walls in this small gorge for the third time in less than a week. Making slight adjustments to my footing position felt like an eternity trying while not to plunge into the pool or have to recompose the scene. The reward for waiting patiently was the wonderful light beams that began to illuminate the upper tier of falls.
