Market Day

Description

This woman in Guatemala was coming back from the market with her fresh produce. As you can see from her ensemble, she (and the people there in general) love bright colors, and the American flag shawl adds to that brilliant display. She might have had in mind pleasing the many American tourists in town as well. Walking to and fro here was a challenge, as the town was built on the side of a steep hill.
