Nature's jewel

Description

An absolutely stunning spider that I have been searching for, for a while. Where should I find him but none other than my front garden in a shrub two steps out the front door.
This is an ambush spider known as a triangular spider (Arkys walckenaeri)
They like the underside of leaves and measure to roughly 7-10mm. They lie in wait for prey to pass by and ambush them with those large front legs.

Thank you so much Patrick, it was a delightful surprise for me to wake up to. I've been absent lately due to a puppy who's wearing me out haha. Thanks again for your kind words and congratulations. #11697280
