Description

The campus Colonnade at Washington & Lee University has one of the finest assembly of Classical Revival architecture. Washington Hall built in 1824 is in the center. It is a three-story brick building distinguished by a six-column Doric portico & a cupola topped by a statue of George Washington. All of them are National Historic Landmarks. Sooo, to break that down... it is a row of big, tall, old, Greek-ish school buildings w/ columns & porches & the middle one has a louvered box on top w/ a statue and its really pretty! W&L is located in my nearby hometown and that's why I like it:) This time of year the grass is golden looking and not as colorful. My settings were: F14 1/125 iso 400 @ 24mm. Processed in Topaz.
