A Little "Me" Time

Description

A local hummingbird taking a break from her nest. Females generally sit on the nest for 55 minutes of each daytime hour, using the other 5 minutes to feed, preen and stretch. I got better results using my 200mm than my 70-300, even though it required me to crop the images quite a bit.
