Capture the Moment - a true story

Description

30 years ago, I got a surprise Carmine Red convertible sports car for my birthday. (Completely impractical) On a beautiful July weekend we drove the North Cascade Loop from Tri-Cities to Seattle. Top down - Perfect Weather - Beautiful mid-day.

Enjoying the moment I looked to my right and we were next to the BIGGEST Semi-Truck I have every seen (remember we were in this very small sports car). And not just large - it was sparkly clean - not a spot of dust or grime on it. His hubcap was taller than my car. And there was my car perfectly reflected in his polished hubcap. Yelling "stay next to it", I foolishly tried to maneuver over the front seat to reach my trusty little point and shoot camera on the floorboard. I took one shot and he said" enough - sit down"

Needless to say - Alcohol may have been involved (on my part - not the drivers)
