Description

Ariocarpus fissuratus is a small flat like cactus that is also called living rock, star rock, living rock cactus, and living stone cactus. It does not contain mescaline as does peyote but it does have mind altering substances. It grows up to 6 inches tall, produces star-shaped rosette of fleshy deltoid to hemispheric tubercles that have no spines. The flowers usually occur from October to November that are bright pink-violet and last 3 to 4 days. Taken 10/23/17.
