Theocratic Sound Car

Description

Over the past weekend I had the privilege to attend the Annual Meeting and Dedication presentation of the new facilities of the World Headquarters of Jehovah's Witnesses in New York. There were so many additional festivities, including tours, several museums of memorabilia over the past 100 years and a family day of fun and games. This old sound car was at the entrance of the Warwick Branch welcoming all those in attendance. It seemed fitting to make this image in black & white. I am not sure of the year of the car, but I am guessing it was about 1930. It was overcast and raining. My settings were: F5 1/60 iso 400 @ 18mm. Added rounded edges to fit the time period and a sepia texture.
