Moon Dance

Description

Solar Eclipse 08/21/2017. The trees acted as natural solar filters. The light and shadows dancing along our pool deck was shaped like half moons as the eclipse was nearing it's peak in our region of the hemisphere. It was beautiful, but fleeting. In a mere 10 minutes this beautiful dance was gone. I had to act fast to capture this image, so I didn't bother wasting time sweeping or cleaning the area. Light changes quickly and this was an especially quick changing scene. I'm so happy to have been here to see it and get it!
