Bodie Island Lighthouse

Night shot of the Bodie Island Lighthouse with the Milky Way rising. The bright light in the lower right is from construction on the Pea Island bridge. This is the construction project that severeved the main power transmission cable serving Hatteras Island and Okracoke causing the power outage that lasted over two weeks and forced mandatory evacuation of all non residents from both locations.
