Each Summer, when fresh strawberries are available, my wife makes a Strawberry Cake - The background is simply the granite countertop on the island in our kitchen. When we built this home many years ago this style granite (black with light specs) was called "Galaxy" thus the title of the image. (an iPhone capture)

I think there used to be a song or a saying about pie in the sky. I love the effects of the granite and how it does look like outspace. As for the pie, those strawberries and cream cake, deliciously beautiful and we are sure quite yummy. #11628634
