Description

While shopping at a thrift store in a nearby town, a nice man struck up a conversation w/ me. He told me about all the places he lived & a little about his life. As he was about to leave the store, I quickly got my camera adjusted & waited for him to walk to his van. I told him I had an assignment with a photography club to photograph a stranger. He said "Well I'm strange!" His name was Kyn (Ken) Horn & he was a very talented artist & craftsman. He asked is there any way you want me to pose? I said, well why don't you sit here at your van next to your stack of handcarved walking sticks. The van interior was dark & made a terrific background. The sky was overcast & bright! I couldn't have planned a better shoot if I tried! I met a sweet gentleman & made a new friend!
