Description

A Black-Crowned Night Heron leaps off a branch to catch minnows in a canal next to Beach Road on Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge. Image taken with a Nikon D500 with the Nikon 200-500mm f/5.6 lens at 6:00PM with great light conditions. Focal length 410mm, f/5.6 @ 1/6400 sec with an ISO of 800.
