St. George

Description

At San Giorgio, the great choir is situated in the curved apse of the church; the lectern there features an amazing, small wood carving of St. George and the dragon. I only noticed it while scanning the choir details with a telephoto; the choir was roped off, so I was some distance away.

Thank you both! I would have loved to get up closer, and get some almost-macro shots of the little sculpture. #11581417
