Wonderful design elements, Hayden - love the undulating layers of waves and color - but...what is it? Thinking a fungi of some type but then again, (getting far out here): thinking of layers of processed meat? lol! Inquiring minds need to know! :) :) #1682187

Val - you are sharp as a tack, first guess is right on the money. It's the gills (lamellae) on the underside of the fungi's cap. Thanks again and great guess you're too good! :) #11574071

Hahaha yeah I am very much an ecologist so a vast majority of my images are that of the natural world. Unless I can't get out or I am sick. Thank you again, macro is my favourite and where I started as a photographer. I say don't worry about the growing up part, don't change you're such a wonderful person and photographer Val, Growing up is overrated in my books. I plan to never grow up haha stay a kid at heart.
