Gathering Pollen

Same fly like creature, but you can see the markings on his back. Maybe someone can identify it??? I cropped it some so we could better enjoy the details of this little guy. I was using my KX-800 twin flash, camera set to manual, using my Canon 100 mm L macro lens. Settings were f16, 1/250, ISO 200.

FANTASTIC lighting and clarity Shirley, I've seen these around here as well, he looks sort of like a type of wasp or a fly? <>< #1680140

Thank you, Nancy. I am not sure, I thought he looked more like a fly, but maybe he is more in the wasp family, but whatever he is, he is very tiny, probably less than a quarter of an inch! <>< #11564436
