The Little Giant

Description

From the posh dining room of the palatial Anderson House here in DC. Mrs. Isabelle Anderson wrote a few children's books during her life. Her doting husband Larz would sometimes commission a sculpture of a particular scene from the stories, as a gift to her. This is one such; a tabletop lighter. A sea-god/giant sits on the underwater mountain range in front of a volcano, tapping out the ashes from his pipe. The lighter's flame of course, emerged from the volcano.
