Early Winter Howl

Uploaded: September 04, 2016 | Entered: September 04, 2016 12:00:32

Description

It is early winter and the first snow is falling. The moon is full, the trees are bare and the cold is on the way. To celebrate the change of seasons this wolf is howling. The second wolf in the back is looking at the howling wolf as if to say, you said it all, there's nothing more to add.
This image is completely created. I started with a base texture and added the wolves and moon as composites by using layers in Photoshop CC 2015. I added the trees, leaves and grasses with Photoshop brushes.
The snow was added as 3 separate textures.
Textures by Jai Johnson
Tree brushes by Obsidian Dawn.
