Description


A new wildflower that I'd never seen before found in a nearby field - and identified by the nice folks at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center in Austin - it's called Blue Curls (Phacelia Congesta)...this one with a bumblebee buried in it about as deep as he can get.

What strikes my about this image is the engaging grouping of the flowers that shows great harmony and balance as in a hexagonal shape. The colors are so delightful to the eyes as well as the repeating patterns. The bee is a wonderful bonus that makes this capture extra special. #11482967
