Description

After taking pictures of this sprouting onion a few years ago, I planted it in my garden where it grew to produce interesting pom-pom shaped flowers!

I've never grown onions before either, Martha, until we went to England, and they were all pulled and left laying on the ground to dry out. Apparently the flowers mean they are nearly ready! I love the detail you have captured in this simple but striking subject. #11421305
