Description

In this photo, a Buddhist nun who is a daughter of the Buddha is paying homage to the Buddha statues solemnly. One can see the peaceful, sincere and simple traces on the nun’s face. According to the Buddhist culture, not only monks but also nuns are the ones who follow the disciplines of the Buddha and people feel peaceful by seeing their faces. Moreover, the architectural style of Myanmar people can be seen in those Buddha statues. It shows how skillful and creative Myanmar architects are. This photo was taken in Pegu, Myanmar.
