After the Spring and Summer rains flooded our area many people from the community came out to clean up the parks that provides a greenbelt for our area - It is always nice to see people "Giving" back to their communities! *Recent storms have once again flooded this area - Currently the lakes are 14 feet over the banks and it is still coming - The homes are safe right now but the wildlife is having to find higher ground....

A wonderful capture, Jeff! Love the DD work, we are right in the middle of one of the worst droughts on record, up here in northern parts of Australia, but the outback is presently experiencing flooding too! Oh what joy! People are celebrating! #1645837Carolyn M. Fletcher December 27, 2015

Mother Nature can be so cruel it seems sometimes. I'm glad that your homes are safe in your area, Jeff and that the wildlife is able to save itself. It's also good to see when people really care. Wonderful story-telling image. #11417071John Connolly December 27, 2015

It is a wonderful thing for the people to give back by chipping in and helping. Seems as though the weather is putting many to the test all over the country. This is a beautiful image as these guys discuss what to do next. Love the black and white and the textured treatment. Beautiful as a picture and in thought. #11417281Jeff Robinson December 28, 2015
