Enough is Enough "Give Peace a Chance"

Uploaded: December 26, 2015 | Entered: December 26, 2015 13:50:56

Description

This capture was taken at our Rotary Village Thanksgiving Dinner on Nov. 18, 2015. Flags flying at half-staff has been a way too common occurrence and these were in honor of those who died in Paris Nov. 13th. These were not the last time at half-mast unfortunately as we also had San Bernardino shooting. As we are leaving the tragic 2015 behind my personal opinion is Enough is Enough. In the words of John Lennon "Give Peace a Chance" we have enough natural disasters to deal with why would humans want to add to that suffering.

Exif: F Number: 5.6, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 1/250 seconds, Flash: did not fire, compulsory flash mode, ISO: 80, White balance: Auto white balance, FocalLength: 7.24 mm, Model: Canon PowerShot SX50 HS

A very fitting image for such wise words, now we just have to get the right ones to take notice!! The older I get, the more I don't understand!!! A good tribute to the lost=^..^= #11416934

Emile, we do have to ask ourselves the question why? There are so many troubled people out there, who don't/can't think rationally, that affect so many decent families and friends. Yes, in John Lennon's words, give peace a chance! #11416951

The old saying Emile about misery loves company. People just can't stand to see someone else enjoying their lives, so instead of working hard to change their circumstance, its easy to take away everyone's peace. I agree Emile. Sad to say I think this will be a far to coming scene. Take care my friend, glad the ribs are healing, Happy New Year friend. #11417519
