Preparing for Launch

Description

My son, Cole, has finally settled into the fact that part of his job as my son is to be the subject of endless photos. For a short time he resisted, then finally realized his charming face was coming out quite well in photos, and so resumed posing. "Mom! Mom! Look at me!" he said. I was torn between the typical mom reply of "Be careful!" and the photographic, "Wait! Stay right there!" The photographer reply won, and there we have it, his pose, Preparing for Launch. He simply HAD to jump off - which, I suppose to an 8 year old, seems like a high jump. Thanks, buddy, for the shot.
