~This wild mustang was seeking protection from the cold winds amongst the dunes located on Currituck Outer Banks. It was so cold we were wrapped in blankets and still freezing~

How they can survive is amazing, feel so sorry for them. Love the dreamy look to the picture, the colors are gorgeous, especially the blue of the sky in contrast to the landscape. You have done some remarkable work with these horses and have brought attention to their plight as more and more of their territory is taken over by man. A favorite here. #11407892
