Avenue of the Dead

Description

I wanted to try "converting" a daytime photo to a moodier, nighttime look; it felt like the white marble mausoleum could be being lit by strong moonlight. Lots of LR edits, darkening exposure, burning, plus a very cool-temp Sunlight filter and vignette.

Exif: F Number: 8, Exposure Bias Value: 0.67, ExposureTime: 1/640 seconds, Flash: did not fire, compulsory flash mode, ISO: 400, White balance: Auto white balance, FocalLength: 18.00 mm, Model: Canon EOS 6D

A huge wow for the final product, Christopher, all the work that went into it paid of beautifully! It reminds me very much of the cemetery right in the city of Edinburgh, Scotland. Where is this one?

Thank you very much! It was fun dabbling in LR and PS to try this out. Debbie--this was a cemetery in Florence, out behind San Miniato church, I believe. #11400313

Thank you, folks! I may have left the white mausoleum too bright, but... I like the end result, and it was a fun exercise! #11400439
