Milky Way Jalopy

Uploaded: September 02, 2015 | Entered: September 02, 2015 07:24:26

Description

I saw this old jalopy just outside of Baker, NV, on the road to Great Basin NP. I knew the Milky Way would be visible on this moonless night during the 2015 Perseid meteor shower. This was a 20 sec exposure, during which I very briefly light painted the old car.

Exif: F Number: 4, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 25/1 seconds, Flash: did not fire, compulsory flash mode, ISO: 6400, White balance: Manual white balance, FocalLength: 16.00 mm, Model: NIKON D750

Nice find and great execution, Michael. Your light painting perfectly brings out the details in the beautiful jalopy. #1628626
