Milky Way over Wheeler Peak

Uploaded: August 30, 2015 | Entered: August 30, 2015 15:44:39

Description

This is a composite of two images. The lake and mountain were shot earlier in the day with the exposure adjusted to mimic night time. The Milky Way was shot in a different location and added in. I also flipped the Milky Way shot, masked and adjusted the opacity to give a slight reflection in the lake. Both images were shot at Great Basin National Park, Nevada.

Exif: F Number: 6.3, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 10/1600 seconds, Flash: did not fire, compulsory flash mode, ISO: 100, White balance: Manual white balance, FocalLength: 19.00 mm, Model: NIKON D750
